My name is Nancy Galvez. I am the third grade teacher at St. Columbkille. I am extremely enthusiastic to be part of this wonderful catholic school family. For the past 12 years I have taught first and second grade in a catholic school setting. Prior to that I spent 5 years working as a paraprofessional in LAUSD. I look forward to sharing my experience and love of learning with the families I serve.
I was born and raised near St. Columbkille and continue to call this area home. I am very proud to work serving my community by doing what I love to do best. “Teach the children of the future.” I truly believe that every child deserves the best education within a safe and nurturing environment. I want to offer my students the best tools necessary to build a strong foundation in their primary years. I encourage all my students to take responsability of their work and actions in order to become positive role model to others. I firmly believe in strong teacher and parent communication in order to help educate a well-rounded student. I have been blessed to work with so many wonderful students and families in the past and I look forward to continue working with many more.
